Wow! We met in the most modern digital age way possible - after friends told us to join a dating app. Abbie vowed to only stick it out for one week! No expectations, no pressure, just vibes. Emy matched with Abbie and arranged their first date just 1 day later. We went to what has now become a very memorable dinner at the Oxo Tower. Emy was a perfect gentleman and Abbie said he could have a second date...

Since then, we’ve grown together as individuals and as a couple in all the ways that matter - sharing mutual respect for one another first and understanding that love and trust is grown over time and with patience. We align on so many values and have become best friends. Taking this next step into marriage feels less like a big leap, and more like the obvious next chapter for us. We both love adventure and travel and we’ll be sharing some of the places we’ve visited with you on the big day!

What’s next for us? We have a big year ahead of us. We’re moving in together! Abbie, Emenike and Roman the cat will all be under one roof. Emenike is not a fan of pets but he and Roman will have to learn to get along. There will be plenty more celebrations to be had and we can’t wait to share all of our news with you all!
